We're hiring a Post Production Supervisor!
Washington, DC based film production agency is looking for storytellers who want to join one of DC's fastest growing documentary production companies.
GoodFight Media is a Washington, DC based film production company specializing in cinematic short-form documentary. Incorporated in February of 2014, we have produced marketing campaigns, broadcast television, narrative films, feature documentaries, and a recent Sundance Festival inductee.
We're looking for someone who can manage post-production workflow, assemble a freelance team based on a creative vision and lend a hand editing everything from fast-paced promo videos to nuanced documentaries for non-profit clients.
We want a post supervisor who has demonstrated experience tracking details, managing projects, interacting with post-houses and building post systems that promote efficiency and organization. Ideally the candidate also brings their own unique approach to pacing and style, based on lots of research and keeping up with the latest tools.
This collaborator will play an active role in planning our production workflow and working with producers from the earliest stages of a project’s lifespan.
We have a commitment to creating content that audiences can connect with emotionally, and although we welcome the creative challenge of working across a wide range of video styles, our style is cinematic yet authentic.
We’re also a team that thrives on positivity, selflessness and enthusiasm. The candidate should take their job and their work very seriously, but they should also be down for humor and fun.
At least two years of professional experience guiding projects from their earliest stages of post-production to delivery.
Candidates who’ve worked directly under post-supervisors and have intimate knowledge of the process may be considered.
A master of managing a calendar and keeping others on track.
Intimate knowledge of the process of preparing deliverables for broadcast clients.
Premiere Pro and CS expert (our primary workflow editing software).
Must live in the Washington D.C. metro area.
Strong familiarity with After Affects. At the very least an ability to create title slates and moving end slates, but ideally the ability to animate info-graphics if given assets.
A strong sensibility for audio engineering and/or color correction is a plus.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Confidence in working alone, with a team, and with clients.
Ability to communicate effectively and articulately.
Pragmatism and resourcefulness.
An eye for detail.
Send a brief statement of interest, reel and/or links to several recent projects on which applicant was a supervisor/lead editor, and CV/Resume to Info@GoodFightMedia.com with the subject line "Post Supervisor." No calls, please.
Immediate start date.
This is a full time, salaried position. Compensation commensurate with experience.
